The five most expensive NFTs

Until recently, works of art were kept in art galleries and private collections exclusively in the form of traditional canvases.

Today, unique images are linked to tokens, like digital paintings on the Internet.
They are called NFT.

The five most expensive NFTs are:

1. “THE FIRST FIVE THOUSAND DAYS” worth $69 million.
This work by digital artist Mike Winkelmann is the main sensation of 2021. Its author has been working on the collage for more than 13 years.

2. “BEEPLE, HUMAN ONE” worth $28.9 million.
This is a dynamic 3D image of an astronaut in a cube of four video screens. The artist can periodically change the details of the picture, having exclusive access to it.

3. YUGA LABS, 101 NFT from the “BORED APE YACHT CLUB” project, worth $24.4 million, presents pictures of monkeys in various modifications. They are very popular among the crypto community in the form of avatars.

4. LARVA LABS, nine NFTs from the CRYPTOPUNKS project worth $16.9 million.
In the US game studio, Matt Hall and John Watkinson developed a pixel image of people, generating more than 10,000 digital characters.

5. TIM BERNERS-LEE, NFT WITH AN INTERNET SOURCE CODE worth $5.4 million.
Sir Tim Berners-Lee, the founder of the World Wide Web, presented this picture with a part of the source code used to create the Internet. The starting price was only $1000.
