Platform for creating P2P applications

Tether and Bitfinex announce the launch of a platform for creating P2P applications.

According to Ether’s Technical Director, Paolo Ardoyno, the Holepunch platform will provide users with unrestricted access to applications. And developers who create applications on this platform will be able to integrate payments with USDT and BTC in the Lighting Network .

Previously, a decentralised and no registration required Keet application for encrypted video calls based on Holepunch was created. This application enhances the ability to share live files, audio, video calls, and text chat.

This approach improves popular end-to-end encrypted applications.

The connection is established exclusively between the users participating in the chat. This reduces latency and improves reliability.
