Crypto winter is an expression proposed by the media to denote a bear market, in other words, a prolonged downtrend.

☝🏻The main sign of the crypto winter is the decline of the entire cryptocurrency market, in particular bitcoin, as bitcoin still continues to set the main direction of price movement.↕️

Crypto winter, as a rule, is cyclical. It occurs after the top assets reach the maximum (most often psychological). This is followed by a prolonged price reduction.

At the moment, two crypto winters are known in the entire history of the crypto industry:
👉🏻From 2013 to 2015. It dragged on for 427 days, the price of BTC decreased by 87%;
👉🏻From 2017 to 2018. It lasted 395 days and the price of BTC fell by almost 85%.

And now, in 2022, we are experiencing the third crypto winter.
