British digital currency forum

Five major British organizations, such as The City of London Corporation, Digital Pound Foundation, The Payments Association, TheCityUK and UK Finance, have created a new crypto alliance called the British Digital Currency Forum (UK FDC).

According to the participants, the group of companies will work on the formation of industry-wide standards and assist financial regulators in promoting best trading practices and legislative initiatives as well.

The British Digital Currency Forum plans to support the UK’s efforts of turn it into a global cryptocurrency center, and will also promote dialogue between the traditional financial services industry, the Bank of England and the cryptocurrency industry participants.
