Binance Initiatives in Georgia

Cryptocurrency exchange Binance has signed a memorandum of understanding with the Georgian Innovation and Technology Agency (GITA) on the implementation of blockchain initiatives.

The cooperation under the agreement will include various educational and charitable initiatives of Binance Academy and Binance Charity, as well as local events and hackathons of BNB Chain.

“Within the framework of this cooperation, Binance will contribute to the formation of new startup ideas and the implementation of projects focused on commercialization,” said Avtandil Kasradze, Chairman of GITA.

This is not the first educational initiative of the exchange in the country.
Last month, Binance signed a memorandum of cooperation with the University of Business and Technology of Georgia.

The platform, in cooperation with Binance Academy, will provide methodological materials to teach students the basics of blockchain, Web3, NFT and cryptocurrencies.
