Binance educational program in Kazakhstan

On December 19, the Binance cryptocurrency exchange and the Kazakh authorities signed a joint memorandum on the launch of an educational program on blockchain engineering and compliance in 22 specialized universities of the country.

The initiative was developed jointly with the Blockchain Center Research Laboratory. This is the first experience of implementing a standard educational program on a national scale.

The parties will develop academic programs based on educational materials from Binance Academy and conduct trainings for teachers during February and May 2023. Then methodological manuals for 4–5 specialized disciplines will be developed. The training of students will begin from September 2023.

Thus, universities in Kazakhstan will train more than 40,000 specialists by the end of 2026. The first graduation of specialists is planned by 2024.
In May, Binance signed a memorandum of cooperation with the Government of Kazakhstan.

On October 6, the exchange received a license to manage the digital asset platform and provide custodial services on the basis of the Astana International Financial Center.
